Claire Bratt-Leal, MS, LMHC

My name is Claire Bratt-Leal and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Redmond, Washington. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, and my Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

I became interested in the pursuit of counseling as a career due to my fascination with human behavior and a desire to help people find happiness.

My style of therapy is based on drawing on an individual’s strengths and awareness in order to build the skills needed to navigate life’s stressors and achieve a sense of well-being.

I like to emphasize positive psychology, integrating elements of humanistic and Person-Centered therapies to help clients learn techniques to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues in ways that make sense in their lives.

I believe that the counseling experience should be tailored to suit each client’s unique needs. This means that the focus and pace of every session is determined by you. My goal is to provide the level of support you want, whether that may be precise applied counseling techniques, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or a more informal, conversational approach.

I will work with you to find ways to curb unwanted thought processes and behaviors by understanding their origins and developing alternate strategies to get you the results you want.
